As I sit here within these walls which have now become so much more than just a house, I can’t help but feel so unbelievably thankful.
Thankful that our house now homes our dream. A husband, a wife and two beautiful daughters, it’s what Scott and I have always longed for and feel so blessed to call this life ours.
I started this blog with the aim of documenting our home renovation journey. To share our ideas on how to transform any room in the home on a savvy style budget. However, there was always so much more I wanted to share.
In January this year, I took a leap of faith and decided to embark on another journey by taking my blog down the lifestyle route, enabling me to talk all things “Simply Styled”. From our home to my latest fashion finds, all the way to my motherhood moments. I found myself, falling in love with blogging all over again and am absolutely over the moon to know that you wonderful people reading my ramblings love it too!
I feel so proud and honoured to announce that “Life Simply Styled By Me” has been nominated for an Amara Interior Blog Award, for the second year running!!
Last year after only blogging for a very short time I was nominated for “Best Newcomer” and made it all the way to the final! It was the most amazing evening, one that I’ll always remember. You can read about it here.
This year, however, my blog has been nominated for “Best Interior Lifestyle Blog” which is the most incredible achievement for me and curbs any previous anxieties I had about shifting my blog over to the lifestyle side.
Just to be nominated for such prestigious awards and have my name up there next to some incredible bloggers, whose blogs I’ve read for years truly is a dream!
